Abstract

敦煌寫卷中保有淨眼法師的兩部因明學著作的寫本,分別題為《因明入正理論略抄》和《因明入正理論後

疏》。寫卷的時代,似可界定在唐高宗後期至唐玄宗之間。《因明入正理論略抄》中的“抄”,學者們曾經誤以為是抄

錄,但這實際上是一種注疏體裁,其所疏解的對像是文軌《因明入論莊嚴疏》。而《因明入正理論後疏》,則是由於文軌

《因明入論莊嚴疏》出現殘缺,所以淨眼法師為之所作續疏。以上兩部著作曾流傳到日本,根據現有史料分析,似可推測

在日本失傳於十二世紀之前。

 

Among the Dunhuang manuscripts, there are two works of master Jingyan on Hetuvidya. They are entitled A Brief

Annotation on Nyāyapraveśa and A Post-Interpretation on Nyāyapraveśa. It seemed that the manuscipts could be defined to be

written between the era of late Emperor Tang Gaozong and Emperor Tang Xuanzong. The word "chao" used to mistakened by

scholars as "copy", but it is actually a kind of annotation style, annotating Wengui’s work entitled Zhuangyan Annotation on

Nyāyapraveśa. Since this work appeared to be incomplete, master Jingyan came up with the work A Post-Interpretation on

Nyāyapraveśa for the purpose of completing Wengui's work. Both works were spread to Japan, and according to the existing

historical materials, they were lost before twelfth Century.
